Patients have access to online services through the online clinical system (EMIS Web) which allows patients to book appointments, request repeat prescriptions and view some of the electronic medical information held about them by their GP practice.
An information leaflet has been written about what the system does, what your responsibilities are and how your data is stored. You are advised to read this carefully BEFORE applying for online access to your health records.
Click here to download the required consent form to sign up for online services. Please bring to the Thorkhill Surgery Reception Desk the completed consent form and two forms of identification. If you are already using Patient Access to request repeat prescriptions and to book appointments you will need to complete this consent form before you can access your health records online.
The consent form is also available from the reception desk at the surgery, or from your GP.
The reception desk or your GP will be happy to answer any questions which you have about Patient Access.
